Pastor Azar Ajaj at Nazareth Evangelical College
The vision for NEC is to advance, equip and inspire the Christian community in Israel and the Palestinian Territories, through theological and Biblical training and reflection, effective leadership training, and promoting reconciliation and unity within the body of Christ.
Christophe & Katherine Savage in Hem, Lille, France
The Savages have planted the "Eglise Protestante" church in Hem and are seeking to serve the local community. They have held an Alpha course, local street parties and run weekends away. They are seeing the church slowly growing.
Brighton & Hove City Mission
BHCM has been working in Brighton for 175 years serving the City, Church and Christ.
Their work is focused on 3 ministries:
1. Taking short services and one to one visitation
2. Taking assemblies in Schools across Brighton - Prayer spaces - Whole school interactive workshops, -School lunchtime cafés
3. Supplying food in emergency and on-going situations - Opportunity for talking/praying - Help with debt and job seeking
Dan and Annie Dupree working in Tirana Albania and Bedfordshire UK
Dan and Annie run a project called Tek Ura in Tirana and also hope to build a new church in the nearby town of Durres. The project comprises multifunctional centres offering a place of welcome and inclusivity, particularly for the most marginalised. The centres, which are led by a pastor that Dan had trained, also offer physiotherapy for children with disabilities and a help point.
In the UK Dan & Annie are now leading a church that meets in a school in a new housing estate in Bedfordshire.
Their time is spent between Tirana and the U.K. In Tirana Annie & Dan remain as Directors of that work which is no longer funded by BMS & depends on supporters’ donations. Enough funding was available to purchase a plot of land for the church in Durres, delayed by legal technicalities but is almost certain to take place.
