The Sheddingdean Strummers are a group of friends from the church who play and sing retro music, mainly up to the 1970’s (and sometimes we dance too!). Well-known Christian hymns or Spiritual songs are often included in our repertoire.
We are a musical variety act that love to interact with our audience, spreading joy and laughter.
In 2016 we began performing to the elderly, primarily those living with dementia and those in care homes, and have since expanded our audiences to include young people with special needs, church events, and a broader spectrum of people.
We enjoy seeing people smiling, tapping, singing, and dancing along with us, rekindling joyful memories.
